Four Nail trends for this coming Spring/Summer 2015

Nail trends

What shall we do with our nails this summer?

Nails are THE accessory that you will never leave home without! And unless you cover them with gloves, they are always exposed. Nails speak a thousand words and give away so much more about us than we give them credit for. I personally don’t have a favorite brand but must admit to have a soft spot for CND. Shellac by CND is the long-lasting polish that revolutionized the industry.

During recent years, the nail industry has seen an exponential growth. No matter what one’s financial state is like, nails can be easily painted and decorated at a minimal cost thanks to the wide range of choices available.

Nails have also become an intricate part of fashion shows, celebrity events and award shows.

Here are some of the four top trends that we can expect to see a lot:

1- Rounded nails

Rounded shapes are probably one of the most frequently seen and observed forms for the coming season, coming exemplified with the diversity of designs including monochrome looks like in case of the combos @Osman, the totally nude and natural nails @Martin Grant, the colorful shapes @Ashish, the shimmery looks @Tadashi Shoji, and the monochrome white designs @CustoBarcelona. 2- Squared oval nails

Squared oval shapes are the other trend that were seen during the shows. @Moschino exposed intensive fuchsia shaded options, @Au Jour Le Jour emphasized shimmery silver nails, @Giles took the direction of the contrastingly shaded nails and finally for @Alexis Mabille, the bronze luxurious nail design was the hit. 3- Almond nails

Almond shapes have gone through considerable decline during the recent fashion shows. Having said that, they still have some presence in the range of the top popular nail trends this coming spring/ summer.

4- Short nails

Short nails were spotted at almost each and every show, including @Jay Godfrey’s gold and white designs, the pale shaded nails @BCBG Max Azria, the super colorful and energizing designs @Desigual, the nude and natural looks @Tess Giberson and @Marissa Webb, the matte black nails @Carmen Marc Valvo, and many others.
