The 68th Cannes Festival is going full throttle.
“This year is also quite special as the subject of women’s roles in the world of cinema is in the spotlight. The festival opened with a film directed by a woman for the first time in 28 years. (women are still vastly outnumbered by their male counterparts). And to encourage more women to work behind the camera, organizers are hosting a conference into equality on the red carpet.” (BBC)
In front of the camera, leading actress Cate Blanchett is getting major Oscar buzz for her leading role in Carole.
As for the styles, the red carpet looks have also been getting some well-deserved attention. Here are some of my favorites taken from Elle.
